The 2024 St. John's Pride Parade will take place on Sunday, July 21 starting at noon (12:00 PM).
Registration for the 2024 St. John's Pride Parade is now open to groups, organizations, and businesses. Individuals who wish to partake in the parade do not need to submit an application.
Important information:
The parade will start from St. John’s City Hall, 10 New Gower Street, and proceed along Duckworth Street turning onto Cavendish Square and proceeding onto Military Road ending at Bannerman Park.
Route breakdown:
The route is approximately 1.92km.
Walkers not part of a registered parade group may join the community group without registration.
Zone A1 at the front of the parade has been designated for this group.
Signage will be in place to indicate the area.
Category A - Community Associations, Non-Profits, and Charitable Organizations
Category B - Small Businesses (under 50 staff), Professional Associations, and Unions
Category C - Large Businesses, Government Agencies, Boards and Commissions
Individuals are free to join as they please.
Insurance requirements may exist for entry into the parade.
All vehicles in the parade must carry a minimum of $2,000,000 liability.
Organizations who are joining the parade should carry a minimum $2 million Commercial General Liability Insurance with coverage extended to the City of St. John's for the parade. Non-for-profits who do not carry this type of insurance may be eligible for an exception."

St. John's Pride strives to be inclusive and we recognize that walking the parade route isn't an option for everyone. We are extending an invitation to those with disabilities and seniors who want to be a part of the 2024 St. John's Pride Parade but are unable to walk the route.
This service is free of charge. Application approval subject to available seating.
Applications close: July 12, 2024 (or when space runs out).
A sensory safe zone will be established on Duckworth Street between Church Hill and Cathedral Street (100m).
